Yes folks, the Sand & Castle Jelly is resurrected for 2017.

I’ve set up the HootBoard below to try and create more of a community for us Jelly-people. You should be able to post a Hoot on there without logging in, although you may find setting up an account and using the app is better (available on android and ios).

Any problems or comments do email me

What is a Jelly?

From the UK Jelly website

Our aim – to bring home workers, freelancers, small business owners and entrepreneurs together in a relaxed, informal, working environment to maximise creativity and minimise the isolation that being your own boss can bring!

A few years ago I got introduced to Jelly – a great co-working initiative for business people, especially those who often work alone. Judy Heminsley from Work From Home Wisdom has talked to me about it and I’ve always wanted to organise one in our area but never had the time or the confidence to get on with it. I also know my friend Rickie from Crafty Skills also runs Jelly events in Birmingham and then I bumped into Mandy Naylor at an event in December and discovered she runs a Jelly in West Lancashire. She kindly offered to meet up to discuss it with me and that finally spurred me on to organise one. I had to let them slide the last year or so due to circumstances – but now I am resurrecting them because I am a firm believe that it takes a community to raise a business.
